I have two recommendations I had to share with you:
I saw a Janome Helly Kitty sewing machine in aqua recently. I definitely don’t need it. But if I ever have a little girl, that will be the first thing I buy her. Probably even before diapers.
Isn’t it gorgeous? It looks so play room appropriate.
They have another one in pink, too! $18 sewing machine. Hah!
P.S. I’m waiting it out to see if Blogger will restore my last two posts (including the Heather Bailey fabric giveaway). If they don’t I’ll have to repost it and everyone will have to re-enter. Just a heads up!
Happy Weekend!

Bah! It looks like your comments from your guest post for us got deleted, too :( Bummer! Anyway can’t wait to see the restored posts- our from yesterday will post tomorrow. What a hassle!
Have a great weekend! PS: LOVE those sewing machines! lol Too cute!

Kate, OMGosh! I’ve been collecting Hello Kitty for 30 years; Before I started school I already had a stockpile of pencils, notebooks, stickers, etc.
When I saw the Janome machine in aqua (it came in my overstock.com email about a week ago) I nearly had a heart attack because aqua/teal is my thang (as you can see on my blog)! BUT since I don’t know how to sew, I couldnt justify buying this. I still really want it BUT can you tell me, since I am totally clueless, is the Janome machine a “play” machine or would I really be able to use it to learn how to sew?

Those are too cute…i still have my holly hobbie sewing maching from when I was 7 (which was some 30 something + years ago) and it still works….i tried to get my 10yr old to play around on it but she likes the little pink travel one i have…whatever gets her inspired :)

Word from the experienced, the pink one is a complete TOY. Its so cute but it’s pretty much only for look because it works like garbage. I hear the aqua one got pretty good reviews as a beginner machine though.
